Summer Camps

CityCURE knows from experience that summer camp can be a critical turning point in the life of a child. At camp, Christian counselors and CityCURE staff model positive values and help youth learn how to walk with Christ. They return with hope, joy, and a serious desire to follow Jesus.

Through quality residential camps, urban children have the opportunity to sail, water-ski, play sports, and meet other youth from across the country. They learn to trust in themselves, their abilities, authority figures, and their peers.

Many youth have never succeeded in overcoming a difficult task. A 500-mile bike trip offers that opportunity. Teens climb on their bikes in Cincinnati and ride to such destinations such as Mackinaw Island in Michigan and Niagara Falls, in Canada.

Teens may try our wilderness canoe trip, journeying like fur traders did 300 years ago. These teens learn that they can do anything through God's strength.
