CityCURE Prayer/Praise Update Winter/Spring 2008

Thank you for praying! We value your ongoing support. Below, you’ll find prayer items from the CityCURE staff. Your prayer involvement is the lifeblood of this ministry!

Praises! Answers to Prayer:

• Over 8,500 under-resourced people benefited from the Thanksgiving Baskets program, the Christmas Store, and the Christmas Boutique in 2007!

• Cincinnati Christian University has committed to award two full scholarships to CityCURE kids for this coming fall.

• Two new interns, Ron Whitt and Shaun Haynes, have come onboard and will be serving in the College Hill and Price Hill areas respectively.

• Whiz Kids has been selected to be the showcased local ministry at the North American Christian Convention that will take place in Cincinnati next summer.

• Pray for X-treme Adventures as they add mentoring as a new option for volunteers. Also pray for the Mentoring Training scheduled for the end of March.

• Pray that the Lord would open doors for Terry Nelson to hold a basketball clinic for urban youth at the University of Cincinnati.

• Pray the Lord would excite someone to match all the dollars that will be given at our spring banquet in May.

• Pray for the new and re-launched Whiz Kids sites in Walnut Hills, Milford, Finneytown, Price Hill and Middletown. Pray that strong relationships will develop and lead to changed lives.
