X-treme Adventures

Partnering with local churches, X-treme Adventures uses dirt bikes and cycling as an incentive to improve a youth's physical development, school performance, social skills, and spiritual awareness. Most of the youth in X-treme Adventures show significant behavior improvement at home and school.

Mentors have weekly phone contact with children in X-treme Adventures and spend time together at least twice a month camping, cycling, dirt bike riding, backpacking, or caving. Each summer the youth have a chance to participate in summer camp and/or Tour de Falls, a 500 mile bike ride from Loveland, Ohio to Niagara Falls in New York.

Through outdoor adventures, caring relationships, and connection to Christ, urban children in X-treme Adventures build the self-esteem and self-discipline that will help them succeed as they grow into being responsible, caring adults.
